Two friends from the World Police Band Concert organising committee flew to Singapore last Jan for a business trip.

I first met them while assisting and coordinating their 1st concert in Singapore sometime in 2003 when I was still with the SPF Band. And it was also the 1st time SPF Band was invited to perform in this annual concert.
Since then, we've become close acquaintance. And the SPF Band was invited again in 2005 in Nagoya, 2007 in Yokohama and 2009 in Hokkaido.
Although I've retired from the SPF, we're still keeping in touch. Calling and emailing once in a while. Last year while in Tokyo for a short holiday, we managed to meet up and have a chat over dinner. The topic.......of course about World Police Band Concert 2014.
So last Jan they flew to Singapore to continue the 2nd part of our talk...to have the concert here at the Esplanade. If everything goes as planned, the concert will be staged in the 3rd quarter of 2014.
